1. Iolani Palace
Located in downtown Honolulu, Iolani Palace was restored to its former grandeur, and tells of a time when King Kalakaua, who built the palace in 1882, and his sister and successor, Queen Liliuokalani, walked its celebrated halls. Today, you can enjoy a tour of the Palace, which is the only royal residence in the U.S.

2. USS Arizona Memorial
This nationally revered memorial is the resting place of the 1,102 of the 1,177 sailors and marines killed on the USS Arizona during the tragic attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. 3. Kawaiahao Church
Known as the national church of the Kingdom of Hawaii, Kawaiahao Church was the first Christian church to be built on the island of Oahu. Also on the grounds of the church is Kawaiahao Fountain where the High Chiefess Hao frequented the freshwater spring.

4. Aloha Tower
Located at Pier 9 of Honolulu Harbor, Aloha Tower was once a lighthouse, and stood as the tallest building in Hawaii for four decades. Today, it is Aloha Tower Marketplace, which is home to a few restaurants as well as the ticket office of Star of Honolulu!

5. Washington Place
This historic residence is where Queen Liliuokalani was arrested during the overthrow of the Kingdom of Hawaii. Washington Place later housed 13 Hawaii governors before being converted into a historic house museum.
